The Israeli folk dance is for everyone, from young to older people
the home of Israeli dances is anywhere where people enjoy the dances!
The folk-dance group „HAVA NAGILA“ has been founded in Vienna in the year 1995.
Starting from 1991- 2015 Monika was the dance instructor for beginners, intermiediate and advanced Israeli folk dancers at the VHS Vienna
Starting with autumn 2015 she will give regular weekly classes at the Tanzstelle, 1020 Wien, Vorgartenstrasse 178 for beginners, intermiediate and advanced students.
The dance group takes part and performs at many Jewish events, such as the annual Jewish Street Festival, the Opening Ceremony of the European Maccabi Games Vienna 2011 and festivities at Maimonides Center - a home for the elderly.
2014 the dance group played a small part in the Hollywood-production „Woman in Gold“, together with well known actresses such as Helen Mirren, Kathie Holmes and others.
We organize dance workshops as well as dance camps with renowned choreographers and dance teachers from Israel.
We participate in several training seminars in Vienna, Germany, France, England, Hungary and Israel.
